My current research explores implementations and outcomes of jail-based MAT/MOUD programs. I teach courses, both graduate and undergraduate, that address addiction, recovery, harm reduction, and public policy. My work in this area began with a FY 2020 COSSAP (now COSSUP) DOJ/BAJ grant which was awarded to the local jail in Ellensburg, WA. By utilizing a mixed methods framework, my research integrates multiple perspectives, and data from various levels of aggregation.
